Dog Vest Policies
Shipping rates presented on DogandWhistleGooseControl.com, Dog Vest Order Form, and the conditions listed below apply only to shipments within the continental United States. Please call for shipping rates and conditions to Alaska, Hawaii, other non-

Dog Vests are typically shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class or Priority mail.
|
|
2.
|
For orders of twelve (12) or fewer Dog Vests, please allow two weeks after our receipt of order and payment to receive Dog Vests. Fulfillment of orders more than twelve (12) to be negotiated with Customer.
|
|
3.
|
Customer may request expedited shipping. Customer is solely responsible for all expedited shipping costs and shall provide a prepaid shipping bill of lading or billable account number.
|
Dog Vest Returns & Refunds
Within 14 days of receipt of Dog Vests and with the following conditions, customer may return Dog Vests for a full refund, less shipping costs.

Customer is solely responsible for return shipment of Dog Vests, including any cost and loss in shipping.
|
|
2.
|
Dog Vests must be returned without damage, alteration, or distress.
|
|
3.
|
Within seven (7) days of our receiving an acceptable Dog Vest return, we will issue refund to Customer via US bank check.
|
Note: This Returns and Refunds policy does not apply to Dog Vest orders greater than twelve (12), of special order fabric or color, or fabric supplied by customer. Such orders will have a negotiated customer review/approval and return/refund procedure and policy.
Dog Vest Warranty -
Dog Vest materials and workmanship (hereinafter referred to as Product) are warranted by Dog & Whistle Goose Control (hereinafter referred to as Seller) for a period of 90 days from receipt of Product by customer with the following conditions:

Excluded from warranty are materials provided by customer, tears and abrasions from impact with sharp objects, damage caused by dog and unusual dog wear or use.

Excluded from warranty are the costs to re-

3.
|
If Product is found to be defective within the warranty period, Seller will, at its option, repair or replace Product. Seller will pay for shipping of defective Product to Seller as well as return shipping of repaired or replaced Product to customer. Some color fading to Dog Vest original fabric is expected and is not warranted. Repairs may show some color variation to original Product.
|
|
5.
|
The intended use and purpose of Product is limited to that of identification. Product is not intended for other purposes such as to attach a leash or lead or to lift the dog. Product does not provide water buoyancy, thermal protection, or fire resistance.
|
|
6.
|
Product shall not be placed on a dog if Product hinders dog’s movements or poses a threat to dog’s safety in its performance or execution of a task.
|
|
7.
|
In no event shall Seller be liable for any lost profits, lost savings, or other special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages however caused, whether for breach of warranty, breach of contract, tort negligence, professional liability, strict liability or otherwise, even if Seller has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
|
While the Dog Vest outer fabric is made of a durable nylon rip stop material, it can be torn if snagged on metal or other sharp object. Barbed wire fencing, for example, is a principal culprit of torn Dog Vest fabric in our goose control work.
Dog Vests can be shipped to us for repair. At no charge, we will advise if repairs are not feasible. You may want to email us a photograph of the Dog Vest condition prior to shipping it to us and we will attempt to advise from the photograph if it is repairable.
If Dog Vest is repairable, the cost to repair torn fabric, re-stitching of webbing, or buckle replacement is $15.00 per vest, which includes return shipping in the continental US.
Repairs to torn Dog Vest fabric are typically made by either hand stitching the torn edges together or by machine stitching a repair piece of fabric over the affected area. Please note note that repairs are typically visible, though hand stitched repairs are generally not obvious from a distance. Repair materials, both fabric and thread, will have some color variation to the original material.
Important Repair Note: Repairs typically cannot be made to or through embroidery or other vest markings.
You may want to order additional Dog Vests. Day in and day out we work our dogs wearing repaired Dog Vests, but for demonstrations the dogs wear new Dog Vests.
